Simple is best as they say. Well, this hand forged fire poker is simply elegant.

Featuring the classic ‘shepherds crook’ design this fire prodder has been forged from iron bar by hand using traditional blacksmith techniques.

Perfect for coal fires, wood burners and fire pits.

Each poker is forged with great care and patience from round iron bar and features a classic shepherds crook design at the handle end. Several fundamental blacksmithing techniques are used making these pieces – tapering, twisting and bending. The result is a charming and timeless poker that is sure to compliment your fireside.

Poker length will be around 580mm, due to the hand made nature of the item is can be slightly longer or shorter.

Once forged the poker is given several coats of Beeswax and Renaissance wax to create an attractive and protective patina.

Please note: Each poker will be slightly different-that’s the real beauty of hand-made work, however every one will feature the Coach House Forge makers mark.
