This beautiful, large Iron Bowl with Copper Staples is a real statement piece, the perfect 6th Iron Wedding Anniversary gift or 7th Copper Wedding Anniversary for all lovers of hand made work.
Designed by Coach House Forge Blacksmith Chris, these unique bowls are a beautiful fusion of Iron and Copper.
Each Bowl is individually hand forged by repeated heating and hammering using traditional skills and tools. No two will ever be alike, the subtle differences brought about during the forging process – that’s the beauty of hand made work.
The Bowl measures 240mm (9 1/2″) in diameter and stands 70mm (2 1/2″) high. It is forged from 3mm (1/8″) thick iron and weighs over 1kg (2.25 lb)
The design features a chisel cut with hand made copper ‘staples’.
The bowl has been treated with wax whilst still hot to create an attractive and protective patina. The real beauty of the iron and copper shines through.
Made with great care and patience, this Bowl will give years of simple pleasure.
Each Bowl is ‘signed’ on the base using the Coach House Forge makers mark and all bowls will be sent in gift boxes ready to gift.
