The Holey Bowl
This beautiful steel Bowl was designed in January 2020, the product of several weeks experimentation at the Forge. Looking for a unique 11th anniversary gift this bowl is for you.
The vessel measures 11″ in Diameter and stands 2″ High . The base has been flattened to provide stability.
By keeping the finished Bowl at a red heat for several minutes, a unique ‘crackled’ surface texture has been achieved. This finish has been further enhanced by the careful application of wax.
Dimensions: 270mm (11″) Wide X 50mm (2″) high Weight 1.6 Kg (3Ib)
The design features a distinctive arc of decreasing diameter ‘hot punched’ holes. We think this contemporary design perfectly compliments the traditional qualities on the Iron Bowl.
It’s a one off piece and it will make a wonderfully unique centrepiece in your home or a fantastic gift for your 6th anniversary.
