Here at the Coach House Forge we make 5 sizes of the Traditional Hammered Bowl, this listing is for the Extra large Steel bowl (30cm Diameter).
These steel bowls are really substantial and will last for generations!
The Bowls are traditionally forged using an anvil and hammer, each hammer blow can be seen in the surface of the bowl giving it a beautiful texture. The surface is then treated with several coats of ‘Renaissance Wax’ to create an attractive and protective patina. The real beauty of the steel shines through.
Each Bowl is ‘signed’ on the base using the Coach House Forge makers mark.
Interestingly, each bowl rings like a bell if tapped on the rim – used to announce dinner time in my house!
Dimensions
310mm (12″) diameter, 75mm (3″) high, 3mm (1/8th”) thick, 1800g (4 Ib) in weight. Perfect for pretty much anything!!
