Our story…
How it all began. Established in the Summer of 2014, Coach House Forge Ltd. is a first generation, family-run, metalsmith business based in the heart of Cheshire, England, started by husband and wife team Chris and Amy Danby.
Chris fell in love with Blacksmithing after enrolling on a training course, since then he’s been dedicated to the art of forging iron & steel and other metals, and one of his designs, in the first 4 years of the business, appeared in a Blacksmithing book!
Using traditional and modern techniques. By applying a combination of traditional and present-day techniques, Coach House Forge expertly crafts heirloom quality objects; from understated rustic candle dishes to large contemporary centrepiece bowls, fire tools and more, there is something for every occasion.
A high-quality metal gift business. This creative and talented couple have now extended their team to include two more Blacksmiths, and Amy now has help with the running of the business at the office. The entire team continues to build on their reputation of delivering high quality, unique, personalised, and hand-forged products.
